So it was another take and Kevin yelled out rudely as usual "back to your one's background 'friends' everyone now hurry up" and with that about 80 psych ward patients ran back at varying speeds to their start point. The scowl of Kevin's face was matched by a strange squelching sound on his walkie. Eveyrone around him covered their ears, it got louder and louder and suddenly it was gone. "Hey, Kevin! Watch where you're going..." a tall mental patient said, and Kevin was startled. It wasn't a background actor but a stand in, second team. Kevin held his tongue, chain of command, and he was just a PA. "Where did you come from John?" The tall, big patient said "right next to you the whole time, I'm just quiet.". The 2nd AD said "ok, let's shoot that again" and the stand in, John, was gone again, and Kevin felt like he literally disappeared as he turned his head.
