October 2013 BF4 Beta Client disconnected fix windows 7 8

BF4 Beta is a fun game, but it stopped working from October 1st to 5th 2013 and then was available again in Origin, but would not connect to any server with players present. Empty servers were fine.

I found that turning off your net connection, or unplugging your cable and then running BF4 in offline mode, just running the game, let it go, then SAVE to close it. Turn on or plug in your net connection. It works again. Something in a flag in a setting etc was wrong.

I also manually added PB punkbuster htm files, cleared by cache, dns, reset my router to no avail.

BF3 worked fine during the problems with BF4 closed Beta to BF4 open beta. This was the fix.
